Hypochondria is a condition in which a person experiences excessive and unjustified anxiety about having a serious illness. This condition is often characterized by fears that minor bodily or mental symptoms may indicate a serious illness, constant self-examination and self-diagnosis, and a preoccupation with one's body. Individuals with hypochondriasis often express doubt and skepticism regarding the validity of doctors' diagnoses and report that reassurance provided by doctors about the absence of a serious medical condition is unconvincing or transitory. Mr. Rohan Gaikwad, recipient of the prestigious Karamveer Chakra (2024–25) in collaboration with the United Nations, is a prominent cyber security expert with over a decade of experience, recognized for his leadership across South Asia, Asia-Pacific, and ANZ regions. A TEDx speaker and recipient of multiple accolades including “Young Cyber Security Professional of the Year (2021),” he has been instrumental in driving cutting-edge cybersecurity strategies for governments and global corporations. Beyond his professional excellence, Mr. Gaikwad is a passionate social reformer, championing female education and rural development through his NGO, The NYRA Foundation. His initiatives like Project SETU and digital connectivity drives in remote regions have empowered thousands of underprivileged youth with education, skills, and job opportunities, while his efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic were widely praised by government authorities. Khadim Ali shares his insights on making meanings through art and culture. Khadim Ali currently lives and works in Sydney, Australia and Quetta, Pakistan. Ali was trained in classical miniature painting at the National College of Arts in Lahore. Khadim Ali received his Master of Fine Art (MFA) from the University of New South Wales in 2016. He belongs to the minority ethnic Hazara of Pakistan and Afghanistan. They are the inhabitants of the central part of Afghanistan, where in 2001 the colossal sixth-century Buddha statues were destroyed. The Shahnamah (Book of Kings) was read to Ali by his grandfather and its illustrations were his first lessons in art history.Rich in traditional and modern motifs of Eastern and Western art-historical references, Ali’s works tell stories about loss (of his own cultural heritage and of human values) and about how meaning shifts as words and images are twisted through ideological adoption. Ali’s intricate works depict stories of demons and angels, conquest and war through the lens of the persecuted Hazara community. How to define open-mindedness - you might be surprised as Richard THOUGHT he knew, but was pleasantly surprised at what it all entailed. Daisy is a grade 9 student at BJ80 High School. Daisy thoroughly enjoys playing the piano and has a level 10 certificate. She has participated in activities at the National Center for the Performing Arts, Tiananmen Square and the CPPCC Auditorium.
