Finding Wonder in an Ordinary Life | Ms. Ishana Swami | TEDxTheKnowledgeHabitatPuneYouth

In this honest and heartfelt talk, Ishana Swami opens up about growing up quiet in a world that celebrates loudness. From overthinking and self-doubt to the small, brave moments that changed her, she shares how books, detours, deep friendships, and quiet victories helped her realise she was never “too much” or “not enough”—just wired differently. Through gentle humour and deep reflection, she invites us to embrace our own wiring, trust our softness, and find confidence in simply showing up. A reminder that even the quietest voices carry wonder, strength, and a story worth hearing. Ishana Swami (14) is a curious and observant young learner who finds meaning in the smallest details of everyday life. She won the IIHM Young Chef India Junior Regional Award and was selected among the top 60 girls in India for the AGMNC Math Camp. Beyond academics, she explores creativity through writing, cooking, and adventure — believing that being “wired differently” is where imagination and courage truly begin to flourish. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
