The Stress Code: Cracking the Code to Stress Management | Dr. Rhonda Harris Thompson | TEDxMableton
You can crack the code to stress management using a stress code involving your 5 senses. The
Stress Code refers to alert levels of stress and the associated responses to reduce or minimize the
impact of stress. Stress typically is the result of frustration, conflict, pressure, or change. Using your
five senses is a terrific way to ground yourself and reduce stress. Each sense can activate the body’s
relaxation response, helping calm your mind and manage tension. The goal is to identify which
senses are most soothing for you and create a “sensory toolkit” tailored to your needs. Dr. Rhonda Harris Thompson is a trailblazing thought leader in self-mastery, personal development,
and transformational coaching. As the CEO and Founder of Harris-Thompson Masteries, she has
dedicated over 15 years to empowering individuals through groundbreaking workshops and
motivational talks. A recipient of the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, Dr.
Thompson is recognized for her unwavering commitment to personal growth and excellence. With a
