India's Time | Dr L. Venkata Subramaniam | TEDxNIIT University
Mr L Venkata Subramaniam sheds light on the rise of technology in India in his talk, "India's First". He shares us his memory of being asked by his mess worker for a job for his son. This singular moment made him question the duality of the situation of India, where at one side there is so much break-through in the country through green, white and golden revolutions; but on the other side people are jobless, deprived of the opportunities provided by the very break-throughs. However, he is optimistic, saying that the next revolution, whatever that maybe, will solve this issue through technological advancements and achievements; and what we see right now is only the gist of the overhaul the technology can make. We are yet to see the full power of this technology in the future, for which we must be ready and properly equipped.
Dr. L. Venkata Subramaniam is spearheading India’s quantum revolution with 150+ research papers, 34 patents, and 3,000 citations. His best-selling book, Quantum Nation, simplifies quantum computing for a wider audience, making complex science accessible to all.
As an IIT Delhi Ph.D. and TEDx speaker, he bridges the gap between cutting-edge technology and public understanding. Recognized with the IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement Award, IBM Master Inventor , and IBM ISA Growth Agenda Award , his groundbreaking work drives innovation and shapes India’s quantum future, inspiring the next generation of innovators.
