Evinde başladığı bu çaba, bilimsel araştırmalarla desteklenerek BEE’O markasına dönüştü. Anadolu Propolisi bugün 37 ülkeye ihraç ediliyor ve 5000’den fazla arıcının hayatına dokunuyor. Dr. Aslı Elif Tanuğur Samancı, Gıda Yüksek Mühendisi, Biyolog ve Türkiye’nin ilk yerli propolis üreticisi BEEO’nun kurucusudur. İTÜ’de gıda mühendisliği ve işletme alanında yüksek lisans, Düzce Üniversitesi’nde ise biyoloji doktorası yapmıştır. Oğlunun bağışıklık sorununa doğal çözüm ararken propolisle tanışmış, Türkiye’de üretilmediğini fark ederek üretmeye başlamıştır. 2013’te İTÜ ARI Teknokent’te kurduğu BEEO, 200+ çalışanı, 5.000 sözleşmeli arıcısı ve 550.000 kovanıyla Türkiye’nin en büyük arı ürünleri üreticisidir. 100’den fazla ürünü BEE’O ve BEE&YOU markalarıyla 37 ülkeye ihraç etmekte, Amazon, CVS, Walmart gibi platformlarda satmaktadır. Ulusal ve uluslararası 90’dan fazla ödüle layık görülmüş olan Samancı, propolisi “kovandan sofraya” anlayışıyla dünya markasına dönüştürmektedir.
