Growing up in a small border town, Ha Ngoc Bui faced doubts, prejudice, and countless “impossible” labels on her dream to study at China’s top university — Tsinghua. From secret applications to late-night YouTube edits, every small step brought her closer to an “impossible” goal — proving that “行胜于言” (Action speaks louder than words) is more than a slogan, it’s a way to rewrite your life. Ha Ngoc Bui is a Master’s candidate in Communication at Tsinghua University, China — one of the world’s most competitive programs with an acceptance rate of just 0.05%. She is a recipient of the prestigious Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC), the Jiangsu Provincial Scholarship, and Tsinghua University’s own merit scholarship. Beyond academia, she is a leading content creator with over 1 million followers across social media platforms. She is also the founder and admin of Nha Trung — a vibrant community of more than 140,000 members sharing resources on learning Chinese, studying abroad, and traveling in China.
