Başak Sipahioğlu Açır shares her passion for literature and education, reflecting on how stories shape our understanding of culture and ourselves. Through her experience as a teacher and writer, she encourages us to appreciate the power of words and storytelling. 14.04.1978 tarihinde Ankara’nın Elmadağ ilçesinde doğdu. İlk ve orta okulu burada tamamladı. Hasanoğlan Atatürk Anadolu Öğretmen Lisesinden mezun olduktan sonra Gazi Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Öğretmenliği bölümünden lisans, Hacettepe Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Yeni Türk Edebiyatı bölümünden ise “1980 Sonrası Fantastik Türk Romanı” konulu tez çalışmamasıyla yüksel lisans derecelerini aldı. 2018- 2021 yılları arasında Kafasına Göre adlı dergide roman eleştirileri kaleme alan yazar 2001 yılında başladığı meslek hayatına halen TED Ankara Koleji Vakfı Özel Lisesinde Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı öğretmeni ve lise müdür yardımcısı olarak devam etmektedir.
