Saroj Inthep, founder of The Roastery by Roj, is a renowned coffee expert in Chiang Rai Province who has played a key role in the development of the region's coffee scene. He is known as a coffee enthusiast who is meticulous about the quality of coffee beans and roasting to deliver good, clean coffee to coffee drinkers. He places great importance on researching and developing the best coffee from start to finish, from understanding farmers to selecting beans, processing, roasting, and brewing. This ensures his coffee is unique and meets standards. He also serves as a lecturer and consultant to farmers and new coffee entrepreneurs in Chiang Rai and other provinces to raise the quality and standards of coffee so it is accepted internationally. Mr. Saroj is also an expert in coffee tasting (Cupping & Sensory), playing a key role in coffee tasting and flavor analysis workshops, as well as being a judge in various coffee quality and flavor competitions.
