Roots | Zografos V | TEDxNTUA
How can images and experiences of ancestors be passed on to future generations? Zografos, artist, and lyricist, tells us in an alternative way how all this knowledge, passed down from generation to generation, combined with his artistic influences and exposure to hip-hop culture, results in the composition of music enriched with history. Zografos, artist and songwriter, will take the stage at TEDxNTUA 2025 to offer his unique perspective. Through personal experiences, he will analyze how music carries its history and possesses the power to convey and create, not only images but entire experiences.Active since the late 90s, Zografos began his solo music career in 2013 with the album "Δεν φοβήθηκα να ζήσω" ("I Didn't Fear Living"), and in December 2022, he released "Πυρίτιδα και δυόσμος" ("Gunpowder and Mint") with Wise Dopes. His career includes numerous collaborations with artists both inside and outside of the hip-hop genre. What sets him apart is his distinctive lyrics, combined with equally unique productions that bridge tradition and the present.
