Why dance changes the world | Drake Best | TEDxStGeorge

Dance is changing the world. Not all at once but in small power-full ways. Drake Best Shares his enthusiam and passion with the world in this TEDx Talk. Social media: Itsdrake_best #TEDxStGeorge #TEDxtalk #Performance #Dance #dancer #dancelife #boysdance2 #utahartsacademy Drake Edward Best is an 18-year-old dancer whose journey in the world of dance began at the age of seven. Drake's journey has been most shaped not by natural talent, but by his determination and an unrelenting work ethic. Unlike many of his peers, Drake did not possess the so-called "natural" qualities often associated with successful dancers. Rather than letting that discourage him, he used it as fuel to grow and thrive. Today, Drake continues to pursue his love of dance with the same drive and optimism. He actively seeks out new skills, trains with diverse instructors, and most importantly, strives to be a positive and uplifting presence in the dance community. His journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of believing in one’s potential—no matter the starting point. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
