The talk will focus on the concept of Post-Traumatic Growth, told through the stories of women who have endured abuse yet managed to find light in the darkness. How can a person be reborn through their wounds? This talk will explore how these women, despite adversity, managed to redefine their lives, discover their inner strength, and illuminate the path for others facing similar circumstances Maria-Evangelia Antoniadou is a Psychologist–Psychotherapist with studies in the Departments of Psychology and Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and Dialectical Behavior Therapist, specializing in the treatment and intervention of individuals with complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.She has collaborated with the 1st Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Athens at Aiginiteio Hospital, within the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program for Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as in the Special Eating Disorders Unit. She also serves as a scientific associate and CBT supervisor at the Hellenic Association for Cognitive Behavioral Studies and at the Institute for Behavioral Research and Therapy.
