This talk will explore how these women, despite adversity, managed to redefine their lives, discover their inner strength, and illuminate the path for others facing similar circumstances Maria-Evangelia Antoniadou is a Psychologist–Psychotherapist with studies in the Departments of Psychology and Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and Dialectical Behavior Therapist, specializing in the treatment and intervention of individuals with complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.She has collaborated with the 1st Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Athens at Aiginiteio Hospital, within the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program for Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as in the Special Eating Disorders Unit. She also serves as a scientific associate and CBT supervisor at the Hellenic Association for Cognitive Behavioral Studies and at the Institute for Behavioral Research and Therapy. Spyros Gkelis is an Associate Professor of Bioinformatics and Plant Organism Biodiversity at the Department of Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He studied Biology and earned his PhD on the ecotoxicology and biodiversity of cyanobacteria. His research focuses on the diversity, molecular phylogeny, genomics, and metabolomics of photosynthetic microorganisms. He teaches in undergraduate and postgraduate programs and has authored more than 55 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and over 200 publications in total.
