La storia della sua vita da atleta che, pur non essendo professionista, ha curato nel miglior modo possibile tra gli impegni prima di studio e poi di lavoro a tempo pieno. Questo le ha permesso di scegliere di correre e gareggiare non per lavoro ma per passione, di accettare gli alti e bassi delle prestazioni ottenute in base ai periodi e di rialzarsi ogni volta dopo una frenata o un infortunio, spinta sempre dalla voglia di ripartire e rimettersi in gioco senza che fossero gli altri a decidere per lei. Oggi è ancora lì, in parte a scoprire i suoi nuovi limiti e ancor di più a cercare di trasmettere l’essenza dello sport ai più giovani. Claudia Pinna (nata il 4 dicembre 1977 a San Gavino Monreale) è una mezzofondista italiana, specializzata nelle corse su pista e su strada.
Nel corso della sua carriera ha conquistato sei titoli nazionali, tra cui tre titoli assoluti: nei 5000 metri (2007), nella mezza maratona (2013) e nei 10.000 metri (2015). A questi si aggiungono un titolo universitario nei 3000 metri (2003), un titolo master nella mezza maratona (2014) e un titolo giovanile nella corsa campestre categoria allieve (1994).
A livello internazionale ha contribuito al successo della nazionale italiana nella Coppa Europa dei 10.000 metri, conquistando due medaglie a squadre: un argento a Bilbao (Spagna) nel 2012 e un bronzo a Cagliari nel 2015.
