Giving - The Purest Shot of Happiness | Ms. Hemanshi Agrawal | TEDxThaltej Youth
What if the secret to happiness isn’t success, but giving? In this heartfelt and humorous talk, Hemanshi reflects on school, life, and conversations with strangers to ask: what if purpose was a part of our education systems? Through stories and global examples, she makes a compelling case for teaching compassion as a habit—not just a value. Hemanshi pursued her undergraduate degree in Politics and Society from Ashoka University and earned her master’s in Political Communication from the London School of Economics. She also conducted research on how language shapes thought at the University of California, Berkeley. As the founder of The Padate Project, she works to make menstrual hygiene a right, not a privilege, ensuring that comfort, sustainability, and disposal are prioritized when addressing period poverty. Through innovative programs like "PadSisters," she bridges the urban-rural gap, creating a direct impact model where donors take part in tangible change. Her experiences in community service have humbled and inspired her, offering insights into diverse sub-cultures and communities. She also provides CSR guidance to companies and is deeply passionate about the art and importance of communication.
