Passion to Global Dream | A Dream Weaver’s Tale | Jobayer Hossain Shuvo | TEDxMUBC Youth
Every great story begins with a spark—and for Jobayer, that spark was a camera lens. What started as curiosity soon transformed into a burning passion, and what seemed like just a hobby in 2011 has now grown into a global journey that carries both his struggles and triumphs. From sleepless nights of learning to perfect a single shot to standing on international stages with 72 awards in his name, Jobayer’s story isn’t just about photography—it’s about daring to dream when everything seems uncertain. In this talk, Jobayer pulls back the curtain on the world behind the frames we admire. He doesn’t only share the glossy highlights, but also the weight of rejection, the sting of doubt, and the relentless obstacles that almost broke him. Yet in every struggle, he found a story; in every setback, he discovered a frame worth keeping. Photography, for him, was never about luxury—it was survival, expression, and rebellion all at once.Dream Weaver, the company he built from scratch, embodies this philosophy. It’s not just a business—it’s a canvas where he and his team transform fleeting human emotions into timeless visual stories. Jobayer’s vision has redefined wedding photography in Bangladesh, proving that it can be more than documentation—it can be storytelling, art, and even revolution. His laid-back yet determined spirit shows us that success is not about rushing ahead, but about pausing, observing, and capturing the unnoticed moments that hold the deepest truths. What makes Jobayer’s journey truly inspiring is not only the global recognition he’s earned, but also the human side of it: the joy he finds in a smile through his viewfinder, the tears he has shed during times of failure, and the quiet pride of knowing that his dream has created opportunities for others. His talk is a testament to the fact that chasing passion is never easy—it comes with chaos, fear, and countless sacrifices—but those who dare to pursue it can transform that passion into a movement that resonates far beyond themselves.A Dream Weaver’s Tale is more than the story of a photographer—it is the story of how resilience, creativity, and heart can turn one person’s passion into a global dream. It is an invitation for every listener to pick up their own “lens,” whatever it may be, and see how their struggles, too, can weave into something beautiful. Jobayer is an IUT graduate who happens to be the founder of Dream Weaver. Jobayer started his wedding photography career back in 2011.He is an amazing storyteller who loves to capture eye catching portraits, which makes his work unique.
