Behind the Wheel, Beyond the Noise | Seema Sinha | TEDxKunskapsskolan Gurgaon Youth
In this deeply personal and inspiring talk, Ms Seema Sinha shares her journey of transformation — from being a homemaker for over two decades to finding her voice, identity, and purpose through an unexpected path: teaching women how to drive. With honesty, humor, and courage, she explores how whispers of self-belief can cut through the noise of societal expectations, and how something as simple as driving can become a symbol of freedom, empowerment, and resilience. This talk is not about dramatic comebacks but about quiet revolutions — proof that even the smallest steps can ignite lasting change. Seema Sinha, North India’s first and only full-time woman driving coach — a trailblazer empowering women through the transformative skill of driving. Over the past three years, Seema has trained women aged 18 to 70 — from underprivileged backgrounds to those with disabilities, autism, or trauma — helping them build confidence, independence, and employability. She even trains on high-end vehicles like BMWs and SUVs. A former professional at Seagram, Google, and Amazon, Seema left the corporate world to pursue her passion. Her inspiring work has been recognized by the World Bank, UNDP, and FICCI-FLO, and featured across national media, including Business Today and Doordarshan. Crowned Mrs India 2023, Seema holds a master’s in Economics, is a trained Kathak dancer, and a proud mother of three daughters. Her unique approach combines practical training with emotional empowerment — helping women take the wheel, both literally and in life. - 5:19Dreams, Power, and Resilience | Jason Tong | TEDxYouth@BWYADreams help give our lives direction and meaning, but they only come true when we have the power to chase them. In this talk, Arya explains what dreams are, why they matter, and how inner power helps turn dreams into achievements. She shows how dreams and power work together, why following your dreams is worth making sacrifices, and how giving up too easily can hold people back. The talk ends with a strong message: people who succeed are the ones who never stop believing in their dreams. Instead of shrinking your dreams to fit reality, build the confidence and strength to grow into them. Jason is a well‑read high school student with a passion for challenging paradigms and questioning the assumptions that shape the world around us. Deeply interested in psychology and the interpretation of reality, he explores how human perception influences belief, behavior, and truth. As he prepares to graduate, Jason looks forward to joining a new community where he can continue to ask difficult questions and inspire others to rethink their ideas. - 10:52The neurodiversity advantage: Why “too much” is a strength | Valentina Flores | TEDxUStreetWomenFor years, those with neurodivergent traits have been told to tone it down or blend in. But businesses don’t need more sameness; they need the power of pattern-breakers and bold thinkers. This talk challenges the bias that labels neurodivergent professionals as “too much” and shows how their cognitive diversity can enhance innovation, accelerate decisions, and reshape culture. It’s time to stop masking differences, and instead start leveraging them. Valentina is the Co-founder and CEO of Red Sentry, a cybersecurity company that simulates real-world hacks to expose vulnerabilities before attackers exploit them. As a proudly neurodivergent leader, Valentina champions a future where powerful minds stop masking and start thriving, treating differences as superpowers, not setbacks. She is a fierce advocate for neurodiversity in tech and a challenger of the status quo, showing that true innovation happens when companies stop hiring for “fit” and instead embrace what makes people unique. Through Red Sentry, she’s making world-class cybersecurity accessible to organizations of all sizes, while proving that diversity of thought isn’t just an HR initiative, it’s a business advantage. Valentina speaks globally on innovative leadership and the power of neurodivergent talent, inspiring others to rethink what resilience and brilliance look like in the modern workforce.
