Stop Asking "What's Next?" | Muhammad Ali | TEDxFASTLahore

We spend our lives paralyzed by the fear of the future, constantly asking "What degree? What job? What now?" Muhammad Ali shares how studying the stories of Prophets like Nuh and Moosa taught him that even the best of humans faced the unknown without a clear plan. He argues that trying to predict the future is a trap, and true peace only comes when we stop worrying about what is next and start focusing on who we are right now. Muhammad Ali is a dedicated teacher, trainer, and motivational speaker who blends engineering, psychology, and spirituality to inspire purposeful growth through uncertainty. With a Mechanical Engineering degree from GIKI and a Master’s in Applied Psychology, he bridges scientific method and human behavior to guide others toward resilience and self-mastery.He has taught at leading O- and A-Level institutions since 2013, shaping countless students through innovative teaching and mentorship. With an online community of over two million followers, his sessions on leadership, emotional intelligence, and motivation help individuals navigate both personal and professional uncertainty. As a founding member of Youth Club, he mentors young people through character-building workshops that integrate Islamic values with contemporary self-development, empowering them to grow with clarity and conviction. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
