The Freedom of Failure | Hoàng Huy Nguyễn | TEDxLuong The Vinh Youth

Behind every shining achievement lies a quieter story of struggle and imperfection. In this speech, Huy Forum reflects on the endless chase for being “enough,” the fleeting comfort of success, and the painful lessons of failure. What once seemed like defeat later revealed the deeper truth of resilience, love, and self-worth. From this journey, he discovered that meaning is not found in perfection, but in embracing our flaws and growing through them. His message reminds us that so-called failures are not conclusions, but beginnings Huy Forum (Nguyễn Hoàng Huy) is the founder and CEO of The Forum, which he grew from a single center in 2018 to 11 branches nationwide, reaching thousands of learners. His free IELTS livestreams attract over 50,000 viewers, and he himself holds an IELTS 9.0. Academically, he earned an MBA in Switzerland and in 2023 secured PhD admissions in Economics at NTU Singapore and Law at the University of Dayton (USA) with scholarships totaling $80,000 USD. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
