Fashion Reloaded | Pensionist*innenklubs Wien, Austria | TEDxVitosha

Klaudia Krasny and Emira Kundurovic share their journey on stage with a vibrant fashion show celebrating style, confidence, and timeless self-expression. Sixteen models aged 70 and 80+ are redefining the meaning of sustainability and style. They are from the Pensioners’ Clubs of Vienna. For two years in a row, the ladies have delivered a bold and inspiring message by opening Vienna Fashion Week with a remarkable recycled fashion show under the label Fashion Reloaded. Each garment is handmade and deeply personal, often crafted from treasured vintage pieces with family history. In collaboration with the Atelier+ collective, these creations turned legacy clothing into modern, eye-catching designs - proof that creativity has no age limits. Beyond the runway, the show carries a powerful message: sustainability over fast fashion, inclusion across generations, and fashion as a cultural force for change. The initiative, led by Irena Reichel with Atelier+ and supported by the Pensioners’ Clubs Vienna and Häuser zum Leben, reveals how style can evolve into a movement for sustainability and social impact. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
