Raúl es co-fundador de Soildier, una iniciativa biotecnológica que aprovecha el potencial de la mosca soldado negra (Hermetia illucens) para desarrollar hidrogeles sostenibles, capaces de mitigar el estrés hídrico en comunidades agrícolas, bajo un enfoque de economía circular. Gracias a este proyecto, representó al Perú en eMerge Americas, una de las conferencias de innovación y tecnología más importantes del sur de Estados Unidos.
