Iako je tijekom karijere stjecala značajno iskustvo u pravnim, organizacijskim i projektnim poslovima, po prirodi nije osoba koja se uklapa u unaprijed zadane okvire. Životna prekretnica dogodila se kroz majčinstvo djetetu iz spektra autizma, što joj je otvorilo oči za nedostatke sustava u podršci djeci s teškoćama u razvoju i njihovim obiteljima. Iz te osobne spoznaje 2018. godine osnovala je Udrugu za inkluziju i promicanje kvalitete življenja djece i mladih s teškoćama Frendofon u Karlovcu, koju i danas vodi kao predsjednica. U radu spaja znanje i iskustvo iz karijere sa svakodnevnim životom uz autistično dijete, stvarajući projekte i programe koji odgovaraju stvarnim potrebama korisnika, a ne samo administrativnim okvirima.
