Seit über 20 Jahren arbeitet sie mit Familien rund um Schwangerschaft, Geburt und die vielen Jahre der Elternschaft.2012 gründete sie das Blog „Geborgen Wachsen“, das bedürfnisorientiertes Familienleben in Deutschland maßgeblich bekannt gemacht hat. Seitdem hat sie verschiedene Bücher zu Erziehung, Bindung und Mutterschaft veröffentlicht und ist eine gefragte Referentin auf Tagungen und Konferenzen.Susanne bildet pädagogisches Fachpersonal und Hebammen fort und gibt ihren Ansatz der Bindungsbegleitung in einem eigenen Fortbildungskonzept weiter. Sie setzt sich öffentlich aktiv für Kinder- und Frauenrechte ein und arbeitet in Eberswalde in eigener Praxis mit Familien. Sie lebt dort mit ihren drei Kindern.
