Em uma fala poderosa e emocionante, Marcela Lage, de apenas 14 anos, costura memórias pessoais, dores históricas e descobertas ancestrais para reconstruir um Brasil que começa muito antes de 1500. Unindo a força de sua trisavó Júlia — mulher negra, nascida sob os resquícios da escravidão — com a ancestralidade de Luzia, o fóssil humano mais antigo das Américas, Marcela reivindica o direito de conhecer, honrar e recontar a própria história. Uma jornada de pertencimento, identidade e orgulho, que nos lembra: é preciso saber de onde viemos para escrevermos, com verdade, quem somos. Eu sou a Marcela, tenho 14 anos e sou apaixonada por dançar, porque dançar me faz sentir livre e feliz. Também gosto de aproveitar o tempo com a minha família e meus amigos, porque acredito que estar junto de quem a gente ama cria memórias que levamos para sempre. Adoro ouvir músicas, porque cada canção me faz lembrar momentos especiais. O tema do meu TEDx é sobre as nossas raízes e o que podemos construir a partir delas, entendendo que cada lembrança ajuda a construir quem somos hoje e quem podemos ser amanhã.
