A representative figure in the tree-climbing community, she was once a girl who fainted on her first climb due to her fear of heights. Through continuous effort and perseverance, she overcame her fear of heights and gradually became accustomed to wandering the jungle. Flying to the United States at the age of 15, a seemingly dreamy new life made her fall into a trough of self-doubt. She kept waiting, waiting for her to be more perfect, waiting for the opportunity to appear. She moved to the United States at the age of 15, where she experienced periods of self-doubt and uncertainty. "Pineapple grows out of the refrigerator" is a childhood memory of hers. Because of their encounter with "Tree King Lai Sang", their whole family changed their lifestyle. Moving into the mountains and forests: turning the soil and farming, splitting firewood and cooking. From Latin America — Paraguay, a restless child with a notebook full of plans to change the world — stubborn, curious, convinced that big dreams could grow in small places. He always wanted to go far, until one journey and a deep loss made him look within. This talk wasn’t written for a stage; it was written to survive. He doesn’t speak from the finish line, but from the fight. And in that fight, he stopped being the victim — and became the hero of his own story. My name is Giuliano Sarubbi, a 21-year-old Paraguayan youth leader, author, and TEDx speaker passionate about mental health and youth empowerment. I founded Ñemotenonde, an NGO supporting indigenous communities through vocational education, and Never Too Young, a platform that has trained thousands of young people across Latin America and Asia. I have represented Paraguay internationally in the United States, Japan, and Qatar, through platforms of the United Nations, Harvard, and Yale. Currently, I study Global Politics and Economics in Taiwan and dedicate my work to inspiring youth to conquer themselves before conquering the world.
