From predicting the behavior of electromagnetic waves to radiation belts, AI is transforming space weather forecasting—a vital safeguard for satellites, astronauts, and even power grids on Earth.Dr. Jinxing Li is a space physicist and AI researcher at UCLA. He leads a NASA project that develops AI models that predict various space environments.
