Failing Forwards | Xuantong Shi | TEDxSt Georges Cologne Youth

Making mistakes is not only inevitable – it is essential for meaningful learning. This message challenges the conventional view that perfection equals success and highlights how productive failure leads to deeper curiosity, understanding, and innovation. My goal is to encourage others to embrace errors, ask more questions, and redefine success as the courage to experiment freely rather than simply striving for perfect grades. Xuantong Shi, is an enthusiastic science student at St. George’s The British International School, known for excelling academically while passionately advocating for learning through experimentation and curiosity. Xuantong is known for inspiring, supporting and encouraging his fellow students on their educational journeys. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
