Dai sensori che imitano i nostri sensi, ai dilemmi etici che l'intelligenza artificiale deve affrontare in situazioni estreme. Scopri come la tecnologia sta cercando di superare i limiti attuali e perché, nonostante le complessità morali, le auto a guida autonoma potrebbero essere la chiave per strade più sicure. Marco Giordani è Professore Associato presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Informazione dell'Università di Padova, dove ha conseguito il Dottorato in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni. Ha svolto attività di ricerca negli Stati Uniti presso la New York University e il Toyota Infotechnology Center, e si occupa di reti wireless di nuova generazione (5G e 6G), auto a guida autonoma e comunicazioni satellitari. È autore di oltre 80 pubblicazioni scientifiche e 2 brevetti, e ha ricevuto numerosi riconoscimenti internazionali, tra cui il IEEE Outstanding Young Researcher Award. È docente nei corsi di Internet e Internet of Things presso l’Università di Padova. Through those roles he trains faculty and staff in impacting and measuring student learning, and he co-leads the Broncho Bites food recovery program. Although his previous degrees were in biology, he is completing his doctoral degree this year at the University of Oklahoma in their Learning Sciences program. He was the founding President of the Oklahoma Compost and Sustainability Association and serves on the boards of two nonprofits dedicated to education and poverty relief in Madagascar.
