- 1:30ARMC's Challenge Coin Award Recipients Rhacel Alaras & Juan FloresWe love honoring our team! Rhacel Alaras, RN, and Juan Flores, NA, are the newest recipients of ARMC’s CEO Challenge Coin Award for their vigilant actions that potentially saved a co-worker’s life. Rhacel and Juan noticed that a member of #TeamARMC was struggling to perform their job duties. Concerned, they checked their coworker’s blood pressure, realized something was wrong, and rushed them to the Emergency Department. Rhacel and Juan exemplified ARMC’s core values through this selfless act of kindness and highlighted the critical role that nurses play in ensuring the well-being of those around them.

Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories, and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August. Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits, and much, much more.Music: Diving in Backwards - Nathan Moore

Did you know nearly 70 percent of adults in our county struggle with weight? It is time to lace up those sneakers and step into action! ARMC’s free 5K Walk/Run is more than just a fitness event, it is a call for individuals of all ages and fitness levels to come together and take a stand against obesity. Whether you’re a runner or walker just looking for a lively stroll, everyone is welcome! The 3.1-mile route kicks off at ARMC and weaves through the streets east of the medical center.
