Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) will hold its Annual EMS and Tactical Medicine Expo at the hospital in Colton on April 23, 2025. The event is held in honor of National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, which began in 1974, to celebrate emergency medicine practitioners and provide valuable training and demonstrations for medical field students and the public. The event offers K-9 demonstrations, a Jaws of Life demonstration, a Stop the Bleed demonstration and more. Numerous emergency and tactical vehicles are on-site for up-close viewing and tours, including helicopters, ambulances, police cars, and fire trucks. Arrowhead Regional Medical Center was proud to be a part of Jehue Middle School's recent Career fair. Teaching our community's youth about different health care career paths is always a great step towards building strong community ties.

On December 18, 2024, members of the Colton Police Officers Association arrived at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) to deliver toys, candy, and Christmas cheer to kids and families spending the holidays in the hospital. Santa Claus made a special appearance escorted by Colton Police throughout the hospital, starting in the lobby, emergency department, then into the pediatrics unit. Operation Giving is a holiday tradition of the Colton Police Officers Association and ARMC.

ARMC’s Mobile Medical Clinic was in Barstow earlier this month! Our team took part in the San Bernardino County Public Defender's Office Mobile Defense Program event, which connected residents to vital resources offered by San Bernardino County @sbcounty.Our mobile clinic provided health resources to the local community alongside other services offered by the Department of Child Support Services @sbcountydcss, Transitional Assistance Department @sbcountyhs, and San Bernardino County Human Resources @sbcountycareers.These mobile services play a vital role in meeting community needs and we’re grateful to have been a part of this event.#TheHeartofaHealthyCommunity #YourSanBernardinoCountyHospital
