ARMC’s Cardiac Clinic is now located at the Fontana Family Health Center to better serve the patients and families in our community and to bring care closer to home. Meet Jon Hall, Facilities Operations Manager at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, who oversees the behind-the-scenes environment that directly impacts patient care. Over a decade ago, Jon had an experience with taking his newborn daughter to the emergency room that inspired him to switch careers and ultimately take on his current role here at ARMC. ARMC is currently underway on many construction projects throughout our hospital to enhance care for our patients, including remodeling our Sterile Processing Department. The Sterile Processing Department is an essential space that ensures surgical instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and ready to use. Our Education department can do it all! Earlier this month, ARMC’s Education Department hosted Skills Day, a series of activities designed to help nurses review required competencies and demonstrate the skills they use daily, such as wound care, blood sugar monitoring, and more. We love it when our team can make learning fun, and this year’s “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” theme made Skills Day a success.
