- 5:08Reclaiming Our Voice in the Digital Age | Nicole Fu | TEDxZhengzhou No.7 HSThis talk explores how young women can reclaim their voice and agency in the digital age by breaking silence, dismantling shame, and using online tools for empowerment. It draws from personal stories, global injustices, and public action to challenge harmful labels and normalize sex education. Hello everyone, my name is Nicole Fu, and I’m a student from ASAA, an American high school with a global vision. I’m passionate about gender equality, youth empowerment, and digital literacy. Over the past few years, I’ve actively participated in both school and community events, using public speaking as a way to challenge stereotypes and amplify marginalized voices.I previously delivered a talk on “The Power of Curiosity in Learning” at our school’s Youth Innovation Forum, and participated in a community-led panel titled “Voices Unheard: Gender and Generation”, where I spoke about the challenges of growing up in a culturally conservative environment. These experiences have deepened my commitment to using storytelling as a tool for change.Today, I’m honored to share my TED-style talk, “Reclaiming Our Voice in the Digital Age,” a reflection on sex education, social labels, and what it means to speak up as a young woman in a hyperconnected world.
