人生というRPGを、小さな村から始めよう。 | Junki Kondo | TEDxAkitaIntlU
Junki Kondo shares his journey from growing up in a small fishing village in Kitakyushu, striving to succeed in Tokyo, and eventually rediscovering meaning and purpose in the rural community of Higashinaruse, Akita. Drawing parallels between role-playing games and life, he emphasizes that fulfillment comes not from possessions or location, but from the “roles” we play for others. Through founding Narutech and engaging in projects that revitalize the village—from digital transformation to local product development—he illustrates how rural areas provide the “empty spaces” where unique roles can emerge. His talk proposes that starting one’s odyssey in a small village may be the key to finding happiness, meaning, and a truly irreplaceable role in life. 東成瀬テックソリューションズ株式会社 代表取締役社長

- 8:57Self-Acceptance: The Smile That Never Left Me | Valeria Silva Pinedo | TEDxYouth@TashkentIntlSchoolAt just 16, Valeria faced a life-changing decision: undergo a major chin surgery to improve her health—or live with constant discomfort and self-doubt. What began as a medical journey quickly became a deeper lesson about identity, self-acceptance, and the way we see ourselves in the mirror. Through fear, uncertainty, and even losing her smile, Valeria discovered that the harshest critic wasn’t the outside world, but herself. Her story is a powerful reminder that true beauty and strength come from within—and that self-approval matters more than anyone else’s judgment. Born and raised in Mexico, Valeria is nearing the end of her senior year and looks forward to the next stage. She believes that life can’t be enjoyed if we are set back by our worst fears. In her second TEDxYouth talk, she explores the idea of social constraints, making connections between facial appearance and our biggest setbacks, often connected to self-doubt. Through her own personal journey of overcoming her transformation after a chin-surgery, Valeria reveals how she frequently feared the judgment and opinions of others when in reality she was her harshest critic. Her talk challenges the idea that life can be controlled by fear of being judged because in reality others are too focused on themselves. - 14:35AI, Skynet, and why humans are losing the battle | Sat Singh | TEDxRancho MirageArtificial Intelligence isn’t just disrupting jobs and draining energy—it’s quietly rewiring how we think. There's a hidden danger of Unthinking: the silent surrender of our memory, creativity, and agency to machines. The antidote? Four uniquely human superpowers—nostalgia, gratitude, curiosity, and imagination—that can help us resist and reclaim our minds. Sat Singh believes that in the age of artificial intelligence, our most important work isn't solving technology—it's understanding ourselves. As founder of AICV and publisher of The Pledge for Responsible AI, Sat has created the region's essential "third space" for AI dialogue. A member of the organizing team for the first-ever Palm Springs AI & Creativity Expo and workshop facilitator at Cal State San Bernardino's ERC, he helps brands, cities, universities, and local businesses understand how to integrate AI with their teams, employees, and customers.Through his content, community, and coworking playbooks, Sat challenges the typical AI narrative. Instead of focusing on what AI can do, he focuses on who we become when we work alongside it. Rather than promising quick implementations, he asks better questions: How do we preserve purpose in our work? What makes human creativity irreplaceable?
