How small goals lead to big wins | Aditya Bhagwat | TEDxBISV Youth

Aditya explores the psychology of procrastination and why traditional advice like “work harder” and “stay disciplined” often fails. Drawing from personal experiences and research, he presents a practical approach to breaking the cycle—turning overwhelming projects into manageable steps. Through relatable anecdotes, Aditya challenges the way we think about deadlines and productivity, offering a strategy that makes tackling big tasks feel as effortless as brushing your teeth. Aditya (Adi) Bhagwat is a sophomore at Stratford Preparatory Blackford with a passion for engineering and consumer technology. His goal is to innovate in mechanical engineering and product design, creating technology that enhances everyday life. As a member of his school’s robotics team, Adi contributes to hands-on building and manufacturing, gaining valuable experience in complex system development. Outside of engineering, Adi enjoys playing guitar, particularly classic rock, and collecting vinyl records for their nostalgic sound. As an avid cricket fan, Adi enjoys following the sport in his free time, balancing his academic pursuits with a variety of personal interests. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
