Your Health Shouldn’t Depend on Your Zip Code | Rakan Almana | TEDxACS Amman Youth

Rakan is a Junior at ACS Amman. He addresses the issue of global access to medicine. Why should your location depend on what medicine you can access? In a world where medicine is constantly developing, there still seems to be some sort of non-accessibility for medications in some countries. Rakan has a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory disease called Eosinophilic Esophagitis, and some of the medicine he needs is not available in Jordan. You will learn about the importance of access to medicine and why. Rakan is a Junior at ACS and addresses the issue of global access to medicine.
