Breaking the Education Chakravyuh | Himanshu Chaurasiya | TEDxMNNIT

In this TEDx talk, Himanshu Chaurasiya, the Founder of CoGrad, and an alumnus of MNNIT Allahabad, shares a bold vision to rewrite the education world for rural and marginalized India. Drawing from his own experience as a JNV student, Himanshu talks about the “Navodaya Effect”—the groundbreaking impact that access to quality education had on him. He reveals the harsh realities many students still face today like inadequate and improper infrastructure, financial constraints, language barriers, and the growing technological divide. He also presents the TAAC Model (Technology as a Catalyst)—a framework designed to make education more unbiased, inclusive, and futuristic. This talk is a powerful call to action to rebuild education systems that don’t just teach, but truly empower. Mr. Himanshu Chaurasiya is an alumnus of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) and MNNIT Allahabad and the Founder of CoGrad, an impactful ed-tech initiative transforming education in marginalized and vulnerable communities across India. He is the creator of Medha AI, India’s first teacher-assistive platform, and has led projects like rural school revamps, AI Sakhi for women, and Social Panchayats to build community-led learning ecosystems. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
