What if religions were just successful cults? But first, what is a cult? Damien Trentedeniers sheds light on the definition of a cult and how a cult evolves into a church. Under his pseudonym Trentedeniers, Damien Fabre is the host of the Religare channel on YouTube and TikTok, which focuses on the history of religions. He takes a secular and non-denominational approach to religious topics, firmly rooted in the social sciences. Currently writing a thesis on the contemporary history of Sephardic Judaism at the University of Bordeaux Montaigne, Damien Fabre is also the author of historical popularization scripts for the YouTube channel Nota Bene. Among his various roles, he has been a radio journalist (Radio Alpa) and print journalist (La Croix, Le Monde).
