Yu-Cheng Ko | TEDxMingdao HS Youth
I’m Ko Yu-Cheng, someone driven by curiosity and a passion for cross-cultural connection. Through Taiwan’s Global Pathfinders Initiative, I was selected to represent youth in Philadelphia after completing the written application and interview process. There, we engaged with local young leaders, visited key institutions and officials, and even organized the first-ever Taiwan Night in Philadelphia.
This journey taught me one thing clearly: when you dare to dream and take the first step, possibilities unfold. Through this talk, I hope to inspire you to believe that your dreams become real the moment you choose to pursue them.
I am Yu-Cheng Ko, a naturally curious person who loves taking on new challenges. I enjoy cross-cultural exchange and have participated in short-term exchange programs in Australia and Singapore through Mingdao. I also represented Taiwan in the World Youth Chess Championship.

- 9:52When Wonder Breaks the Box | Mr. Vishwas Parchure | TEDxTheKnowledgeHabitatPuneYouthIn this thought-provoking talk, our speaker takes us from the confines of a metaphorical 6x6 box to the vast terrain of real-world exploration. Through experiences in boarding school, corporate corridors, classrooms, and finally remote mountains, he uncovers how fear, resistance, and uncertainty shape us—and how stepping beyond familiar boundaries rewires us for growth. With stories of bold risks, unexpected detours, and the “art of beggary” that opened global doors, he reveals one powerful message: comfort limits learning, but wonder expands it. This talk invites every listener to embrace the unknown and “go risk something today.” He is a Pune-based educator and facilitator with decades of experience in experiential education across India and abroad. ? - 12:32Digital Darwinism: Design the future before the world does | Jacqueline Schmidt | TEDxSouthlakeIn an age of rapid technological change and AI-driven disruption, collapse is no longer an exception—it’s a catalyst. Drawing from a life-altering spinal injury and her journey into building an AI-powered creative agency, the speaker reframes breakdowns as opportunities for reinvention. This talk introduces a simple, human-centered framework—Pause, Prototype, Partner—to show how adaptability, not talent, is the real creative superpower. Rather than fearing AI, she invites us to collaborate with it, using technology to amplify imagination, accelerate experimentation, and design what comes next. This is a call to move from resistance to creative alchemy—and to become active co-creators of our future. bio coming soon This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
