What does it take to push past fear, pain, and the voice telling you to quit?
Marta Wąsik shares her journey of completing an Ironman triathlon and how discovering her “why” gave her the strength to go beyond her limits. Her talk is a powerful reflection on purpose, resilience, and living life beyond the ordinary. Marta is an Executive Engineering Manager at GE Aerospace, with over 15 years of experience in aerospace engineering. She leads a team supporting the fastest-growing fleet of commercial engines in the world. She graduated from Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Mechatronics, and completed a postgraduate course in Project Management at Warsaw School of Economics. Marta began her career as a reliability engineer and later joined the Edison Engineering Development Program. She quickly advanced into leadership roles of increasing responsibility. Outside of work, she explores servant leadership and ways to foster innovation in daily tasks. She loves competition, which drives her to grow continuously. Above all, Marta believes everything is possible, and she approaches life with optimism and joy.
