- 10:17My Growth from Pursuing "Position" to Building "Inner Core" | Ruier Ma | TEDxNFLS Xianlin YouthIn the first year of senior high school, drawn by the "prestige" of club presidents, I joined five clubs with personal motives. However, I didn't get to become a president in my second year. Despite the sense of reluctance, I still sought opportunities to develop my leadership skills. Later on, I identified three core aspects of personal growth: character development, academic exploration, and social responsibility. In the end, the cultivation of these three "cores" endowed me with greater strength to face future challenges. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. - 10:54Why Uncertainty is a Power, Not a Weakness | Jingyuan Sun | TEDxNFLS Xianlin YouthWe all know it. Before an exam. Before an interview. Before we take a risk. It sneaks in and whispers: You’re not ready. You don’t know enough. You can’t predict what will happen. Most of us treat uncertainty as a weakness. Something to eliminate. Something to overcome. Something to hide from. - 9:38Achieve an Excellent Life Like Natural Growth | Feng Guo | TEDxNFLS Xianlin YouthFriends, imagine this: A towering tree doesn’t grow overnight, and a rushing river originates from tiny streams. The most profound wisdom of nature often lies in the principles of circulation, repetition, continuity, and refinement. Today, what I want to explore and unlock with all of you is precisely such a tool—it seems to come from an industrial workshop, yet in fact, it contains the code for the growth of the universe: the PDCA Cycle. PDCA is the acronym for Plan, Do, Check, and Act. It is not a cold, mechanical process, but rather the core algorithm that enables us to thrive and grow like natural living beings. This concise closed loop represents the underlying logic of all things’ growth: Plan is taking root downward, Do is growing upward, Check is adjusting toward the sun, and Act is iterating for new life. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
