What is ikigai? | Brandon Wong | TEDxTSIS

“What do we live for? Why do we live? For some, these powerful philosophical questions cannot be answered even after years of inquiry. However, a simple Japanese concept known as ikigai, which translates to 'reason for being,' holds the answers to these questions. My speech will explore how asking 'why' can lead you to discover your life purpose - your ikigai.” Brandon is a student passionate about exploring how purpose shapes human fulfillment. Through his talk, he aims to inspire others to reflect on their own journey toward a purposeful and meaningful life. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
