The kind of leadership AI can't generate | Jennifer Gregory Davis | TEDxFolsom

By 2050, AI will have transformed how we work, create, and collaborate—but the soul of leadership must remain human. This talk introduces Generative Leadership: our human-centered response to a tech-driven future. As human-AI collaboration becomes the norm, leadership is the force that will determine how every other innovation unfolds. The best leaders of 2050 won’t be those who know the most; but those who create the most together. Jennifer Davis partners with individuals and organizations to become who they are inspired to be. As a leadership and career educator, she supports university students and young professionals in their growth, transformation, and leadership development. Jennifer currently teaches and coaches in the Berkeley-Haas Global Access Program at UC Berkeley, where she guides visiting graduate and undergraduate international students in navigating their career journeys. A PhD candidate in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University, her participatory research explores how leadership education can be co-created with emerging leaders in ways that foster collaboration, belonging, and shared meaning-making. Her expanding work will focus on helping organizations facilitate intergenerational co-creation experiences—such as dialogue labs, where leaders across generations can surface shared values, navigate differences, and collaborate on future-focused solutions. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
