From Latin America — Paraguay, a restless child with a notebook full of plans to change the world — stubborn, curious, convinced that big dreams could grow in small places. He always wanted to go far, until one journey and a deep loss made him look within. This talk wasn’t written for a stage; it was written to survive. He doesn’t speak from the finish line, but from the fight. And in that fight, he stopped being the victim — and became the hero of his own story. My name is Giuliano Sarubbi, a 21-year-old Paraguayan youth leader, author, and TEDx speaker passionate about mental health and youth empowerment. I founded Ñemotenonde, an NGO supporting indigenous communities through vocational education, and Never Too Young, a platform that has trained thousands of young people across Latin America and Asia. I have represented Paraguay internationally in the United States, Japan, and Qatar, through platforms of the United Nations, Harvard, and Yale. Currently, I study Global Politics and Economics in Taiwan and dedicate my work to inspiring youth to conquer themselves before conquering the world. For a long time, I was convinced that emotion and logic lived in separate universes. I believed I had to pick a side, constantly feeling like I was being pulled in two different directions.
