What We Get Wrong About Success | Arhaan Chokshy | TEDxReptonSchoolDubai

This talk explores how our perception of success shapes the way we live, learn, and make choices. From classrooms to careers, we often treat success as something to chase, a grade, a title, a win, but what if we’ve been measuring it the wrong way? Through personal stories of leadership, innovation, and failure, Arhaan challenges the audience to rethink what achievement really means and how redefining success might just change the way we live. Arhaan Chokshy is a Year 13 student in Dubai who thrives at the intersection of engineering, design, and entrepreneurship. Outside the workshop, he’s an avid photographer and polo player, and he loves building with others: turning rough ideas into elegant, collaborative solutions. Recent highlights include racing at the H2 Grand Prix World Finals, placing top five nationally in 4x4 in Schools, and having his photography published in magazines. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
