สิ่งที่ใครหลายคนมีไว้ติดตัวแต่ไม่ได้นึกถึงคุณค่าของมันอย่าง "บัตรประชาชน" กลับกลายเป็นสิ่งที่สามารถพรากชีวิตของคนบางคนไป เพียงเพราะเขาเหล่านั้นไม่มีโอกาสในการถือบัตรประชาชนเหมือนคนอื่นการต่อสู้บนเส้นทางของความไร้สัญชาติกว่า 23 ปีของ “โอ๋” หญิงสาวที่ไม่มีแม้แต่โอกาสในการใช้ชื่อและนามสกุลตามกฎหมาย บัตรประชาชนที่ทุกคนมองว่าเป็นแค่บัตร 1 ใบ ได้มาอย่างง่ายดาย สำหรับเด็กไร้สัญชาติอย่างโอ๋คือทั้งชีวิตที่เธอต้องต่อสู้กับระบบราชการที่ยุ่งยากและซับซ้อน ต่อสู้เพื่อความหวังที่อยากจะใช้ชีวิตปกติ ชีวิตที่ทุกคนควรได้รับในฐานะมนุษย์คนหนึ่งThis talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx Something that many people possess but do not appreciate its true value—an "identification card," —can result in the deprivation of life for some, simply because they lack the opportunity to have an ID card like others.The struggle on the path of statelessness for over 23 years of "Ao", a young woman who has not even had the chance to legally have a name and surname. While an ID card is often viewed as just a simple document and easily obtained, stateless individual like Ao, it represents her whole life.
