Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx Something that many people possess but do not appreciate its true value—an "identification card," —can result in the deprivation of life for some, simply because they lack the opportunity to have an ID card like others.The struggle on the path of statelessness for over 23 years of "Ao", a young woman who has not even had the chance to legally have a name and surname. While an ID card is often viewed as just a simple document and easily obtained, stateless individual like Ao, it represents her whole life.
