Pour conjuguer désormais comptabilité avec soutenabilité, Eugénie Faure nous propose de changer les règles du jeu : en prenant en compte le respect des limites planétaires et l’atteinte des besoins humains à l’échelle des entreprises, sans attendre un nouveau cadre règlementaire. La comptabilité ne serait alors plus le problème mais la solution, en invitant les organisations au changement à travers le pilotage de leurs performances environnementales et sociales. Après plus de 4 ans en audit financier à Nantes, Eugénie Faure s'est spécialisée en expertise comptable et commissariat aux comptes dans des entreprises variées. Interpellée par les crises sociales et environnementales, elle mène, depuis 2020, un travail de recherche sur les nouveaux modèles de comptabilité multi-capitaux et prévoit d’enseigner pour les diffuser et faire bouger les lignes... comptables.
