Kullandığımız teknolojilerden ürettiğimiz enerjiye kadar çok fazla alanda maden ürünlerinden ve sektöründen faydalanıyoruz. Bununla birlikte genelde maden mühendisliği gibi meslekler hakkında yeterli bilgi sahibi olmuyoruz. Bu konuşma ile yeni bir perspektif kazanabileceğinizi düşünüyoruz. Konuray Demir, lisans ve yüksek lisans derecelerini Hacettepe Üniversitesi Maden Mühendisliği Bölümü'nden almış, doktora çalışmalarını ise The University of Queensland’da sürdürmektedir. Türkiye Varlık Fonu'na bağlı Türkiye Maden A.Ş.'de Proses Müdürü olarak görev yapmaktadır. Cevher hazırlama, proses tasarımı ve operasyonel verimlilik konularında uzmanlaşan Demir; Türkiye, Almanya, Sudan, Güney Afrika, Avustralya ve Papua Yeni Gine başta olmak üzere birçok ülkede aktif saha deneyimine sahiptir. Türkiye'ye dönmeden önce, dünyanın en büyük altın üreticisi olan Newmont Mining Corporation’ın Papua Yeni Gine’deki Lihir Altın Madeni'nde tesis operasyonlarında Baş Mühendis olarak görev yapmıştır. Ayrıca Laos, Filipinler, Çin ve Kanada gibi çeşitli ülkelerde de madencilik projeleri yürütmüştür. Uluslararası mühendislik deneyimi ve disiplinler arası yaklaşımıyla, madencilik sektöründe sürdürülebilir, yenilikçi ve entegre proses çözümleri geliştirmeyi hedeflemektedir. En ciblant la présentation exclusive d’une réalité économique et financière, la comptabilité nous a fait perdre le fil de notre réalité humaine. En se concentrant sur les profits, cet outil a fini par nous faire mélanger nos moyens et nos fins : la préservation des capitaux financiers a supplanté la satisfaction des besoins humains, au détriment de notre bien-être et avec de graves impacts sur l’état de notre planète. Pour conjuguer désormais comptabilité avec soutenabilité, Eugénie Faure nous propose de changer les règles du jeu : en prenant en compte le respect des limites planétaires et l’atteinte des besoins humains à l’échelle des entreprises, sans attendre un nouveau cadre règlementaire. La comptabilité ne serait alors plus le problème mais la solution, en invitant les organisations au changement à travers le pilotage de leurs performances environnementales et sociales. Après plus de 4 ans en audit financier à Nantes, Eugénie Faure s'est spécialisée en expertise comptable et commissariat aux comptes dans des entreprises variées. Interpellée par les crises sociales et environnementales, elle mène, depuis 2020, un travail de recherche sur les nouveaux modèles de comptabilité multi-capitaux et prévoit d’enseigner pour les diffuser et faire bouger les lignes... comptables. Après plus de quatre ans en audit financier à Nantes, Eugénie Faure s’est spécialisée en expertise comptable et commissariat aux comptes dans des entreprises variées. Interpellée par les crises sociales et environnementales, elle a exploré les liens entre comptabilité financière et soutenabilité. Depuis 2020, elle prépare une thèse sur ce sujet et a co-développé le LIFTS Accounting Model®, récompensé par le prix du projet innovant de Finance for the Future en 2021. Elle poursuit ses recherches et souhaite désormais enseigner pour diffuser ces nouveaux modèles de « comptabilité multi-capitaux ».
