Great ideas start with real problem | Oyshabonu Narzullayeva | TEDxAmerican University of Technology

Behind every breakthrough is a problem that demanded a solution. This talk reveals how the world’s greatest ideas—from inventions to movements—were born from real struggles. It’s a call to embrace problems not as obstacles, but as the starting point for innovation, creativity, and lasting impact. My name is Oyshabonu Narzullaeva, I am a social entrepreneur, startup and speaker. At the age of 15 I founded several projects at the intersection of technology, education and medicine. One of them is LexiKid, an AI application for dyslexic children that helps develop reading, memory and concentration skills. My initiatives have been recognized at international hackathons, forums and competitions, where I have received awards and grants. I became the only participant from Central Asia at an international hackathon and was included in the list of Top 25 Women in IT in the nomination “The youngest and most successful woman in 2024”.Now I am developing the first marketplace of construction materials in Central Asia and continue to work on socially important products. My mission is to create technological solutions with a real impact on society. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
