The shortcut to success no one talks about | Taylor Patterson | TEDxTorontoMetU
What do Justin Bieber, Michael Jordan, and a high school Formspring crush have in common? They all prove the power of a co-sign. In this funny and insightful talk, Taylor Patterson breaks down how strategic endorsements - big or small - can fast-track your career, boost your credibility, and open doors that hard work alone might not. From viral moments to micro co-signs, Taylor reveals how recognizing and leveraging support from others can be your ultimate shortcut to success. Taylor Patterson is a multi-hyphenate artist based in Toronto with a focus in film production, writing, and video creation. Most notably recognized as 'the blogTO guy', Taylor spends his time hosting and producing content for Toronto's best-known local news publication. His three years at blogTO have given him the opportunity to create content with millions of views, interview notable artists like Nicholas Cage, Timothée Chalamet, Ben Stiller, Jordan Peele, and more, and most importantly serve the city by sharing stories that resonate with millions of Torontonians. When he's not touring Toronto, he's creating videos as a Canon Creator or hosting Oasis House events/parties across the city. One of Taylor's biggest passions is contributing to the creative community, and he does so by hosting the mentorship program and sitting as a committee member at the Soho House Toronto.
