We don’t lack ideas or intelligence we lack heroes willing to act.In this inspiring talk, researcher and educator Wisnu Dewobroto explores the timeless qualities of heroes both fictional and real and how those traits can guide Indonesia toward a brighter future. Drawing on his studies in entrepreneurship and his lifelong fascination with superheroes, Wisnu Dewobroto reveals three core principles that define every hero: the courage to act, the curiosity to ask why, and the wisdom to never fight alone.From Marvel quotes to the cultural strength of "Gotong Royong," and even the lessons hidden in the stones of Borobudur, this talk challenges us to step out of our comfort zones and become everyday heroes for the people around us. Dr. Wisnu Sakti Dewobroto is an entrepreneur and entrepreneurship advocate. For over 20 years he has actively supported entrepreneurs through various institutions, government ministries and community initiatives. He has a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. He spent more than 5 years as part of the team formulating entrepreneurship strategies at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. Since 2022 he has served as an Expert Advisor under the Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). He has received several awards including the ACSB Presidential Award in 2023 for his impact on the growth of MSMEs in Indonesia. He is currently active and holds the position of President Commissioner at Gajah Mungkur Group as well as Dean of the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business at Podomoro University.
