La agricultura se originó hace aproximadamente 12.000 años, marcando un punto de inflexión en la evolución de la humanidad. Este cambio permitió la producción sistemática de alimentos y facilitó el establecimiento de comunidades sedentarias, configurando las bases de las civilizaciones modernas.
A pesar de su antigüedad, la agricultura no ha quedado obsoleta. Al contrario, se encuentra en un proceso de transformación constante, impulsado por la necesidad de mejorar la productividad, optimizar los recursos y aumentar la rentabilidad. Los agricultores, en respuesta, han demostrado una notable capacidad de adaptación a las nuevas condiciones y tecnologías. En las últimas décadas, los sistemas agrícolas han experimentado importantes cambios tanto en su estructura como en su gestión.Entre los avances más destacados se encuentra la adopción de la agricultura de precisión, caracterizada por la incorporación de tecnologías como tractores con sistemas de guiado por GPS, sensores remotos y plataformas de teledetección mediante drones. No obstante, para que estas innovaciones tecnológicas generen un impacto real en la eficiencia y rentabilidad de las explotaciones agrícolas, su implementación debe ser adecuada y adaptada a las particularidades de cada empresa. Ninguna unidad productiva es igual a otra, por lo que la integración tecnológica debe considerar factores como la escala operativa, la capacidad técnica del productor y los recursos disponibles. El objetivo principal del uso de tecnologías en el ámbito agrícola es incrementar la eficiencia en las labores del campo y en el uso de insumos, mejorar la competitividad en los mercados, y maximizar la rentabilidad económica. Todo ello, contribuyendo de manera significativa a una agricultura más sostenible desde el punto de vista ambiental.Ingeniera Forestal, Máster en Ingeniería de Montes, Máster en Incendios Forestales: Ciencia y Gestión Integral.
Con una sólida experiencia profesional, ha sido responsable del Departamento de Agricultura de Precisión en Burgos Salaverry–Smart Flight, donde lideró proyectos de asesoramiento integral a explotaciones agrícolas.
Su trayectoria se caracteriza por la integración de dos grandes pasiones: el medio rural y la tecnología. Premio Jaén Joven 2020 a la Innovación (Diario Jaén). Premio Dinamia 2022 a la Investigación (Asociación de Profesionales de Juventud DINAMIA).
Administradora e Ingeniera en Llano de la Mata S.L., especializada en el cultivo del olivar y la producción de aceituna. Colabora con la Fundación JAV (Jaén Agritech Ventures). Ponente en jornadas técnicas (Instituto Andaluz de Investigación y Formación Agraria, Pesquera, Alimentaria y de la Producción Ecológica), centros educativos y foros especializados, promoviendo el papel de la mujer en la agricultura.
