Dance Out My Life | Jia LIU | TEDxFuxingPark
A dancer's stage life may be limited, but young dancer LIU Jia has expanded his understanding and depth of dance through various forms of stage art expression. Whether he is performing in a stage play, participating in variety shows, or working as an actor, he never forgets his identity as a "dancer" and dances out his life. LIU Jia is a young dancer and First-Class Performer. He graduated from the PLA Academy of Art, once worked at the Frontline Art Troupe of the Political Department of the Nanjing Military Region, and currently holds a position at Nanjing University of the Arts.
He has won awards at home and abroad, including the Gold Award for Performance at the Lotus Award (China's top dance award), the Gold Award for Dance Drama Performance at the Lotus Award, as well as the Gold Award for Performance and the Best Choreography Award at the CCTV Television Dance Competition.
He has appeared twice on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala. His representative works include Dance Smash, Call Me By Fire, Ode to the Earth, Nuoma Ami, Ode to the Motherland, and Frankenstein.
